Veloce with Fototec clear transition lenses are the best eyewear for the money on the market. Zero fogging (with the help of a little dish soap) and they look fantastic! I’m stopped on the pickleball court daily with inquiries.
I'm a cyclists in the Salt Lake, UT area and ride in the morning. These glasses are amazing. They look essentially clear fresh out of the sturdy and well designed case but darken nicely and relatively quickly. Given the specs listed, I thought they would not get as dark as they do so I'm pleasantly surprised. The lens is amazing. So amazing that I let my wife use them on a run on a trail that starts very shaded but opens out into full sun. She loves them so now I need another pair. I'm not getting them back. No kidding. The look is great. The for is great. You can dial in the fit with the adjustable parts but mine were just about perfect right out of the box. I've had no issues with slipping while looking down. The lens shape has a nice taper on the sides so no worries if you have higher cheek bones. They're also vented so no issues with fogging while running or cycling. Needless to see, I am more than impressed. Highly recommend. Will be re-buying a second pair for myself immediately.
The photo showing the clear lenses was taken in as dark as a room as I could get without needing the flash. The outdoor photo shows the darkened lenses after less than 10 seconds. Again, I am more than impressed.
Really seems to liven up the greens. Makes it easier to see the breaks.
I'll start by advising cyclists not to use polarized lenses which these aren't) for riding. Something doesn't compute well in my brain when I'm looking down, the images from each eye not melding. Anyway, I love the my pair of Veloce glasses. My first was an Interchange set, but I wanted to have another pair so's to readily have clear or tinted lens glasses in hand, without the change-up process. When I went to the case where the extra lenses were, so's to fit in a clear set, I found I really like the other choice. the warmly tinted ones - they make the light of a dull day more pleasant! I am not yet able to comment on the light-sensitive new pair... tint seems adequate.
The tints are not heavy duty darkening, just enough to make bright sun pleasant. Once they're on and my helmet is then on, I just forget about them. Good long temple pieces wrap my long head snugly.
Great glasses like it they come with reader part. Had to get used a bit to the location of the reader part, but once used to it , it’s great. The grey filters out a lot of sunlight.
Adjusting nose support took me a little, afraid to break things.
