400 people participated in the Tifosi sponsored event, Dirty Spokes 9/6 Hour Mountain Bike Race in Winder, GA (Largest 9/6 Hour Mountain Bike Race in the Southeastern US)!

2012 Tour d Oconee!

Thanks to all participants in the 2012 Tour d’ Oconee on Saturday, May 5! The start and finish lines were located right here at Tifosi headquarters in Watkinsville, GA. The Tour d Oconee is a recreational ride organized by the Oconee County Cycling Organization, which raises funds for youth cycling programs in the area.

The day started out with hot and windy conditions as the 275+ riders headed out on their 15, 25, 35, or 62 mile courses around Oconee County. Of the 275+, we estimate about half finished the 62 miler. Great job, riders! We hope you enjoyed riding along Northeast Georgia’s scenic backroads, some of the best road cycling in the whole country!
We also want to thank those in the community who came out to help and support – local law enforcement, citizens, and members of the business community. Tifosi was joined at the starting line by three local bike shops: Sunshine Cycles, The Hub, and Georgia Cycle Sport. Also lending support were local businesses Jittery Joe’s Coffee, providing hot coffee and goodies, and Chops & Hops grilled up some great burgers and chicken tacos.
Thanks again for all your support and for helping Oconee County Cycling Organization do good things for our community! And a great big huge thank you to our own John Dewey for his role in coordinating, setting up, and manning the Tifosi booth all day! Thanks John!

In Outside Magazine’s Spring Buyer’s Guide, the Tifosi Seek ranked in the top 3 sunglasses reviewed, with high marks for its functional lens selections and a great choice for all-day mountain biking! Also in the Buyer’s Guide, the Tifosi Mast received Outside Magazine kudos: vents to prevent fogging, interchangeable lenses, and high value.

We had an awesome time at the Sea Otter Classic last week. Thanks to all of you who stopped by to say "hi", and if you bought some new Tifosis, let us know how you like them! Start and Finish lines are right here at Tifosi headquarters in Watkinsville, GA, with product give-aways, lots of cycling gear for sale, food, Jittery Joe's coffee, music, and more!
