Tifosi Optics Extends the National Hole-in-One Giveaway

Tuesday, November 15th, 2005

Due to the success of the National Hole-in-One Giveaway, Tifosi Optics is pleased to announce the giveaway will be playing another round.

Originally scheduled to conclude on Nov. 30, 2005, Tifosi Optics has extended the National Hole-in-One Giveaway until Jan. 31, 2006. From now until Jan 31, any golfer in America who hits an ace is entitled to a free pair of Tifosi Optics golf sunglasses.

“I’m floored by the response we’ve gotten from golf courses and winners,” said Tifosi CEO and founder Joe Earley. “Tifosi has been able to join in the hole-in-one celebrations of nearly 200 golfers since August 1, 2005.”

To redeem their free pair of eyewear, acers can download the hole-in-one redemption form at www.tifosioptics.com and fax it along with a copy of their scorecard, signed by the pro at the course where the ace was hit, to the Tifosi Optics headquarters. The pro signing the card will also get a free pair of shades.

Tifosi Optics offers a wide variety of technologically-advanced eyewear retailing from $30 to $60, including interchangeable lens models that come with three different lens sets. New for 2006, Tifosi is offering the EC Extreme Contrast lens that is specially designed to help the wearer spot the subtle breaks on the putting green.

Golfers who do not manage an ace but want to check out the new 2006 Tifosi Optics product line, or find a Tifosi dealer in their area can log onto www.tifosioptics.com.

Tifosi Optics Announces Its National Hole in One Giveaway

Monday, August 1st, 2005

A manufacturer of technologically-advanced sunglasses wants to help golfers better endure the spotlight that comes with hitting a hole-in-one.

In what is believed to be the first ever national promotion rewarding anyone who hits a hole-in-one, starting Aug. 1, any golfer in America who hits an ace will be entitled to a free pair of Tifosi Optics golf sunglasses. The glasses will help them deflect the attention that comes with scoring an ace, golf’s most glaring accomplishment. There are no strings attached and no costs, just a valuable reward for the accomplishment of a lifetime.

“A hole-in-one is the ultimate accomplishment for a golfer. While a round of beers in the clubhouse and a framed scorecard is a great reward, we want to take it a step further,” says Tifosi CEO and Founder Joe Earley, whose company provides eyewear to some of the world’s premier athletes, including the Minardi F1 Racing Team and some of America’s top cyclists. “Tifosi glasses are made to help golfers see better from tee to green.”

The promotion will run through Nov. 30, 2005. Any golfer in the United States who hits a hole-in-one in this time period can get a free pair of glasses by providing a copy of their scorecard – signed by the pro at the course where the ace was hit – to Tifosi. They can do this by printing the hole-in-one redemption form off www.tifosioptics.com and faxing that form along with a signed scorecard to the Tifosi Optics headquarters. The pro signing the card will get a pair of glasses as well. Winners will get their choice from among five models. Golfers who don’t manage an ace but still want to improve their game can always visit www.tifosioptics.com to find an authorized Tifosi retailer in their area. Hole-in-ones must be achieved on a USGA rated course.

With prices ranging from $30 to $60, Tifosi Optics provides a wide selection of high-quality frame and lens options, including interchangeable lens models that come with three different lens sets. For golfers, Tifosi offers a unique GT (Golf/Tennis) Lens. Based on research by Pacific University, the GT lens is designed to enhance “object illumination.” The lens enhances the user’s ability to pick up a ball in flight by incorporating a unique balance of target and background brightness. The spectral filter of this tint is designed for “green grass” conditions, allowing the golfer to focus more closely on the ball when preparing for shots.
