Tifosi Optics Athlete Brittany Lincicome Wins the Kraft Nabisco

WATKINSVILLE, Ga. (April 6, 2009)-After an exciting four days of competition, LPGA player and Tifosi sponsored athlete Brittany Lincicome has won her first career major at the Kraft Nabisco Championship in Rancho Mirage, Calif.

At the beginning of the day, Lincicome trailed fellow Americans Cristie Kerr and Kristy McPherson but kept the gap close enough to regain control with an Eagle on the 18th hole.

"It just came down to 18, and luckily my length is a strong point and I bombed it out there and went for the green," Lincicome said of her winning 275 yard drive.

Lincicome wore the Tifosi Pavé throughout the tournament. The Pavé model comes with three interchangeable golf-specific lenses for various playing conditions and is a favorite of hers because of its open lens design and deep lens cut.

A visibly ecstatic Lincicome took the customary victory plunge into the water surrounding the 18th green at the Mission Hills Country Club-after removing her favorite pair of Tifosi glasses of course.

Lincicome Leads Kraft Nabisco Championship

LPGA player and Tifosi Sponsored athlete Brittany Lincicome has started the 2009 season off with a bang by leading the first LPGA major of the year, the Kraft Nabisco Championship.

Ending the day 6-under par with a 66, Lincicome has three players hot on her heels with three days of play to go.

Lincicome to Compete in the Inaugural Kapalua LPGA Classic

LPGA star and Tifosi Optics sponsored athlete Brittany Lincicome is slated to play in the inaugural Kapalua LPGA Classic in Maui, Hawaii Oct. 16-19.

Consistently one of the top drivers on tour, Lincicome will compete against other top professionals for a share of the 1.5 million dollar purse.

The event is an offical LPGA 72-hole televised tournament featuring the Arnold Palmer/Francis Duane designed Bay Course.
